Nuru Path Community Initiative is a community-led organization in Kilifi, Kenya, founded in 2019, and is dedicated to empowering children, youth, women, and vulnerable groups. Through programs in education, mental health, economic empowerment, menstrual hygiene, child protection, and environmental sustainability, we work to create dignity, well-being, and opportunity for all. Guided by transparency, empathy, and collaboration, we mobilize community resources and partnerships to drive measurable, lasting impact.
Nuru Path Community Initiative operates through six interconnected workstreams:
2. Mental Health Advocacy & Wellness: Mental health awareness campaigns, psychoeducation workshops, peer support & community conversations, referral pathways for professional care, safe spaces for youth and vulnerable groups
3. Education Support, Student Empowerment & Community Leadership: Resource mobilization for school fees and materials, mentorship, academic clinics & career guidance, digital learning, STEM advocacy & innovation, youth leadership, civic engagement, community awareness, and advocacy campaigns on social issues.
4. Menstrual Hygiene & Girls’ Dignity Programs: Provision of dignity kits and menstrual supplies, menstrual health education, advocacy against stigma and gender inequalities, and keeping girls in school.
5. Children’s Welfare & Rescue Support: Support to rescue centers and children in distress, psychosocial support & life skills, advocacy for child protection and well-being, and strengthening community safety structures.
6. Environmental Sustainability & Climate Action: Tree planting & ecosystem restoration, climate-smart agriculture and community gardens, waste management innovations and climate resilience education
